A Real Reason.My name is Jason. I'm 46 years old and I work 4am shifts at Costco in San Diego. My wife Angie works for Costco as well, different warehouse, different schedules so one of us is always home with our daughter Nadiya.
A couple years ago my doctor told me I had congestive heart failure. Losing weight wasn't optional for me anymore — it was the difference between being here for Nadiya or not. I had gastric sleeve surgery. I've lost 110 pounds and I'm still going.
In the 90 minutes between getting home from my shift and picking Nadiya up from school, I started building something. Workout plans built for a post-surgery body. Meal guides that feed the whole family from one kitchen. Real content from a real dad on a real schedule.
That's Just a Dad Thing. Not a fitness influencer with a perfect setup. Just a dad who found a reason to keep going — and built a library for every other dad who's trying to do the same.
